Alexandra is a Registered Dietitian for Zehrs Imperial and Fergus. With a BaSc in Applied Human Nutrition, and a Masters of Applied Nutrition, she uses her nutrition expertise to empower her clients with personalized nutrition advice backed by legitimate research and science, to meet their unique health needs. With a client-centered all-foods-fit approach, she believes building a nourishing diet is about the foods you add in, not what you take out. Food is a source of culture, traditions, and enjoyment, in addition to being an opportunity for health. I meet my clients where they are at in their health journey and help them build lasting strategies tailored to your unique needs to help you feel your best for life.
Heidi studied at the University of Guelph and began her career as an in-store dietitian in 2016. She is a foodie at heart with a passion for perusing local farmers markets, growing her vegetable garden, and cooking with her loved ones. Heidi brings this love of food to her career as a dietitian where she offers nutrition education, evidenced-based advice and encouraging support for groups and clients alike. Heidi believes that eating well is not about dieting, cutting out favourite foods, and instead focuses on fostering a healthy relationship with food and body to empower her clients feel their best. Heidi's areas of interest include family nutrition, chronic disease management (heart health, diabetes) and plant-based eating.
