Dietitians: Kasia Miko, Martina Luketich
Kasia Miko is an In-Store Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Expert with Loblaws, based in Toronto. Kasia obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University before pursuing her Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication. She also has a degree in Psychology from McMaster University. Kasia’s practice focuses on using nutrition to teach others how to become more connected and in-tune with their bodies, and empowering individuals through evidence-based recommendations. She is dedicated to helping her clients create realistic and sustainable nutrition strategies that fit their lifestyle, and meet their health needs.
Kasia has an interest in helping individuals with: building cooking skills, meal planning, plant-based eating, chronic disease management, mindful eating and sports nutrition. During her practical dietetic training, Kasia worked with elite-level athletes at the Canadian Sport Institute of Ontario (CSIO) and Athletics Canada, developed nutrition resources for the Toronto Raptors, and is currently completing her post-graduate diploma in Sports Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee (IOC). So whether you’re starting a new exercise program, looking for ways that proper nutrition can support your training, or aiming for a new personal best, Kasia can help teach you how to use nutrition to support your performance goals.
In her spare time, Kasia loves being active and especially enjoys cycling, running, hiking and curling. She also loves developing and trying new recipes, and baking with her Kitchenaid mixer.
Martina Luketich is an In-Store Registered Dietitian at Loblaws in Toronto, Ontario.
Martina is a graduate of Ryerson University, earning her Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication, Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food, and Certificate in Proficiency in French. She completed her practical dietetic training in a diverse range of settings including: clinical dietetics, nutrition counselling, and corporate food industry. Martina has since brought her professional nutrition knowledge to Loblaws, where she helps customers and clients shop, eat, and live better right at the grocery store.
In a time when our eating habits are under pressure from every direction, it's Martina's goal to help you make food choices that suit your unique needs and leave you feeling excited for your next meal. Martina offers individual nutrition consultations at Loblaws to help clients meet their health and wellness goals. In the community, she leads group workshops, Lunch n’ Learn presentations, and corporate health and wellness events. Martina has a special interest in working with individuals as they manage their cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, or digestive concerns. She also has expertise in coaching families and individuals with meal planning or adopting a plant-based diet.
